Shipping Services
PPI Terminal is one of the world’s largest publicly traded crude and product tanker owners and operators, offering seaborne transportation of crude oil, refined petroleum, and other goods on international shipping markets. PPI Terminal owns and operates a fleet of 14 vessels, grouped into two categories: oil tankers (3 Suezmax and 1 Aframax) and product tankers (10 medium range (MR) vessels). PPI Terminal owns a third of the local crude oil transportation business and provides services to other major domestic oil firms. We transport crude oil under long-term contracts, keeping safety in mind as a national strategic resource.
Our dedication to safe operations is the cornerstone of our company’s image as a “trusted transportation partner.” We have close relationships with trading companies, including Chinese and Japanese ones, and significant oil producers in Asia and the world. Along with growing the number of clients we service, we also want to move more freight. The bulk of PPI Terminal fleet, which consists of supertankers and Suezmax-class crude oil carriers, is internally managed. In addition to its in-house fleet management, PPI Terminal collaborates with reputable ship management companies for a portion of its fleet.
The fleet of PPI Terminal ships to locations all over the world and to the strictest charterers. The warships and sailors maintain constant communication with the shore crew through regular onboard visits, briefing and debriefing sessions upon joining or disembarking, modern communication methods and conferences ashore, as well as onboard or in-house training programs. Superintendents, clients, internal and external auditors, and national and international regulatory authorities assess the performance of the crew and the vessel. PPI Terminal enjoys solid working connections with all of the major oil corporations.
The organization and the boats have passed multiple oil-related screening checks. The health, safety, security, environmental, and quality standards of the maritime transportation business are the primary consideration for all services provided. PPI Terminal committed to enhancing environmental preservation, as well as the safety, security, and caliber of employment and fleet operations.
After every delivery, the tanks are cleaned in route so that they are prepared for use upon reaching the next loading location. Fast freight loading and unloading is made possible by the tank’s design and high pumping capacity (300–600 m3/hour). The crews work in shifts of one week on and one week off. This guarantees that PPI Terminal is accessible 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. The most recent computer, communication, and navigation systems are installed on every ship.
PPI Terminal vessels are self-built. The company’s engineers remove the hulls and install the tanks, engine rooms, controls, loading and unloading machinery, cargo heating, tank washing systems, and all other required amenities. Everything is designed specifically for the transportation of oils, fats, and derivatives. Steel and stainless steel have always been used in the construction of tanks and equipment at PPI Terminal to provide higher hygiene standards, more efficient cleaning, and better product quality. Hot water heaters have been put in the tanks.
